Say No to workplace Harassment!

Being a Media Student,I expect to work in a most professional environment but what if I see that this industry whether news or entertainment side,is actually creating the most challenging job for female because here the young girls may attract by the glamour of media world but lost in the darkness of somewhere.

I have seen some of my friend working in media industry but left because somehow they didn't find compatibility or they might not understand the difference between class room and workplace environment. Even so many of them are unaware about the existence of law to protect women safety at workplace or maybe thinking legal process too complex.This is where the real challenge lies.

The issue of workplace harassment, and why it continues to exist so prominently within the modern workplace have been the centre of debate for decades. The questions around how it should be dealt with, and whether it is fair for someone else to take precautions just so they are not a victim is unfair, when restrictions and specific modifications in behaviour should be required from the criminal minds who believe it is acceptable to behave in such a disgusting manner.
There are numerous questions in my mind and their positive answers will only lead to the path of productive workplace environment.

can we, as a society, ever sensitise ourselves enough to give women the courage and the confidence to approach authorities for help and justice if need be?
 
Will women find it easy to approach the HR department to report an influential superior, with a lot of clout, who has sexually harassed her and expect to receive justice? Will the ranks in a company hierarchy keep the moral courage and good sense to side with the victim no matter influential her harasser is?

Will women ever gain enough confidence to approach the police to report harassment cases without fear of being judged, condemned or blamed for the crime that someone else has committed?

Will society ever begin to comprehend the difference between a victim and a perpetrator?

The answer is up to you to take the first step out against harassment whether you're the victim or seen someone being under this fear.Educational system should trained the students to tackle such situation specially while doing internship.This is a very crucial topic and needs more attention. The most important step forward is to focus on healthy work environments by ensuring that administrations at institutions follow a standard code of conduct and there are enough measures to deals with harassment situations.The legal procedure should be made convenient enough that women can easily approach and avail it.Propagating awareness on workplace harassment would be inevitable to bring real change in society because its not just the women who is effecting by this problem but a society as a whole.We should also need to motivate, encourage, support and build confidence in our women to bravely face such situations. At the same time, we must create necessary awareness in men as well. it's time to come out from our comfort zone,lets keep it on record or at least speak up for the sake of awareness because this is the least we can do from our side!

story revolves around superstitious and their result in one's life.Ujala the leading character loves his University's fellow Fahad and wants her at every cost  and wants to marry him whereas Fahad is not intersted in her and loves Dua.Ujala dream is to become a doctor and to marry Fahad,and just for fulfilling her dreams, she takes the help of taweez to have Fahad from Dua and she goes till the last try of "Taweez".some how she will be successful and her black magic work,Fahad got married Ujala but still loves Dua as she was her first love.

I went to gathering yesterday at my cousin's house,just like joyous environment at every cousin's house normally, we all were sitting right after having dinner and normal chit chat was going on among cousins but suddenly that chit chat converted into quarreling not such a massive one but what I realized that no one can tolerate if something comes to them.The thing is we people can not tolerate the things because more often our hectic schedule pressurized us and we forget the basics of treating  people.

the question is why youth are in under the pressure of intolerance? as they don't have much responsibilities, they have one path on which they take their journey to the end of achieving their goal but what I observed is that the youth of our nation react extremely, they don't have control over their emotions and thats the common observation.According to the National Human Development Report,64% population is below the age of 30 and 29% is between the age of 15 to 29 years.

After a long time,my uncle came from Canada with his family,two younger kids and one elder son, my parents always put this family in their good list, especially mama and said you all have to be like them,all the things had done by mama for their feast and they arrived at our home,we started portraying ourselves innocent and very sophisticated in front of them.But what we saw, the Canadian Uncle and his family were beyond our expectations.

The kids started fight,actually sophisticated fight that means in English, very fastly though but the words they were using sounds that "Burger Bachas" are non-comparable to anyone  and they were intolerable because they can not show their patience and they want to have Hover-board as they saw that in my room,I said to them that right after dinner will give you but they were impatient at that time.

we,youth are quite stubborn and our stubborn nature makes us intolerable in every aspects of our life.Instead of quick and over reaction youth should realise that Pakistan demands their role for its revival in every field or in walks of life,youth should not be extremist and must know the art of tacking the situations. Pakistan is calling with a hope of stand on its own feet and youth have a lot of potential to do more for their Country.

Count Down Begins for Hundred Days

Hope for the best, hope is not just a word it comprises on our feelings related to the betterment of our present and futureAs far as as Pakistanis are concern, they are really concern for their country and thats why they believe on"Change" and how miraculous is that our ne government also have the same intentions.

The hundred days agenda given by government is considerable for the nation as it focues on better governing system, conserve water,revolutionize social services, uplift agriculture, programs for education and ensures Pakistan's national security. these all will be achieve within hundred days, how's that possible as these problems are thirty five years old and to be solved in hundred days that too short time but as government claims this so we can"hope" to get.

Challenges are risky and accept such challenges can put the government in tough time as pakistan knocked at IMF for a bailout package aimed at avoiding default on International debt obligations and restoring confidence among the investors.

But we should not forget that this time we have Imran Khan as our leader who knows how to lead his companions.We need to trust on this newly born government and stand with our leader everytime.Issues have to sort out, as every member of PTI government relaxing the nation and they should ensure that days passes and soon hundred days come to end.

Corruption free country.implementation on bright policies of education, jobs, agricultur, water is under observation but Khan Sahab's government should know that Pakistanis elected you because you showed us what we want to see in Pakistan in just hundred days...!

its a question raised by the generations of Pakistan that why we are facing water crisis as its alarming situation.Decision of making dam has been taken by Prime Minster of Pakistan but when it will be implemented?.The Prime Minister Imran Khan did appeal to overseas Pakistan to donated for the construction of Dam.We should appreciate the Chief Justice of Pakistan for awaring the nation about water crisis.

we can not deny that water is our basic need as our body rely on 70% of water but unfortunately cities of Pakistan facing water crisid and the citizen of lower areas drink impure water as it becomes their compulsion for their existence.According to UN report,Pakistan is on its way to become the most water stressed country in the region, by the year 2014.

Pakistan had almost 5,000 cubic metres of water per person, a number that has gone down to only 1,000 cubic metres per person and that's really tragic that our major countries have water supply on its border line. 

According to another alarming report given by Wapda,regarding the daily water requirement of our major cities, the figure stated that Islamabad needs 176m gallons per day but is only receiving 84m gallons,Karachi needs 1,100m gallons per day but is receiving 600m gallons,Peshawar needs 250m gallons but is receiving only 28m gallons so hearing such low water supply figures give goosebump that 2025 year will bring danger in scarcity of water.

Water usage can not be less as we require it every time and anywhere and terrible the situation will be that you open tap and water will not be coming, you need to do boring in your house but then you come to know that your land has nothing for the purpose of water digging. hope that the debate that is going on these days for the construction of Kalabagh Dam will be implemented by the government and as a citizen it is demanded to donate for the same or safe water atleast till the dam is constructed.

The law makers, the care takers and responsible for the safety of citizens became a symbol of danger for the people unfortunaltey . I am shocked when I heard the tragic death of little angel Amal Umer. was killed tragically due to police firing. when I took pen in my hand, emotions hold them and I didnt know what to write and how to write,from where I start, the little angel has passed way but left many questions in the thoughts especially for the parents.

the whole family was happy as they were going for having family time but unfortunately robbers came to Mr. Umer's car for the purpose of snatching and at a time police saw and quickly reached towards the point and without even care of public and crowded area they started firing in the result of this Amal targeted by the shot of gun, but she was still alive and other hope for the parents made their trust  on ambulance service but unfortunately to whom Amal's parents blame as Amal received next to no treatment, no medical professionals and no aid. Amal left her family in grieved. I felt shame that where we go for the justice, as the responsible organizations are not doing justice with their limitations.this issue must be solved but the question is how? when whole system is corrupted than 100 days is not enough to encounter them. 

Who safe karachi, who is going to  safe the citizens from snatchers, sometimes when I heard such painful incidents my heart fills with tears , why nobody act to whom we have hopes did nothing as they are help less due to higher authorities. Amal's death raised so may questions that why police uses weapons anytime especially at public place? why first aid services not given at a time of need? why the case is hidden ? 

and what we heard is we lost another life and what we see the surviving family without their beloved. it is a bitter truth that remains quiet is best strategy in our society but people like us, who can speak by their pen want justice for the family of Amal because we can relate this to ourselves as we don't  want to lose another Amal.

My eyes  get stop towards the natural view, purity of nature takes me towards the city of sea that is Karachi. sunrise till sunset,every view of sea-view hold you the cool breeze touches face and it enlightens you soul. but besides these feeling of joy, their is another picture behind the curtain,how sarcastic is that the city of sea facing water crisis from last five years. 

All that glitter is not gold is absolutely true because we can only see water( the gold) just in karachi sea as people are finding out water in the tap of their homes but unfortunately they get drops or droplets.I am surprised as people say safe water for future you guise answer me that saved water will be enough for the future generation here I am talking about generation not an individual. karachi or karanchi is a city not a town man .

karachi is famous by its two main and prominent qualities that are it is city of lights , or city of  sea but you may feel these qualities as issues because you dont have enough of it. We must be thankful to the tanker Mafia though they are expensive but affordable for the people like us but what about those who only afford the impure water. 

But  I must say karachities ignore this problem infact all problems if someone say that lets go to Sea View and intsall that view in eyes especially when water touches your feet and face and for people who are sitting more than half hour and even days for having water.

Though we are facing water crisis and danger bells as 2019 is nearer and water is on its border line in Pakistan especially in interior areas or karachi's lower area we hope that Sea View always fascinates us.

EDUCATION IS IN DANGER???

The extremists have crossed their limits.Educations is on survival stage.Empty mind people and their coward actions against education are intolerable.Education in Gilgit Baltistan is in danger.Unfortunately twelve schools had been destroyed.

This is not a first time such an attempt has been made, year 2004 and 2011 has been faced such issues at educational institute.Several schools were setup to overcome this gap and promote education in the area.Because its an obvious that without education,literacy rate can not improve. it is necessary to go from door to door to educate people that education is the only solution to your problem.

This particular attack not only has taken away education but it also has shattered the dreams of many who want to see their children flourish.This coward attack not only leave students scarred but will also create a sense of fear amongst the   residents.Particularly those who were in favor of getting their daughters educated.It is alarming situation that a network was able to attack 12 schools only in a night without alerting and escaped easily.

Concern authorities must look into the matter and take strict notice as soon as possible.At this point only 20% of girls in the area are receiving education.The provincial and federal government must take notice and ensure that education of women in Country is their priority.

Election 2018 and Pakistani Celebrities

For making elections successful,celebrities performed their significant role in awakening the Nation for casting vote on 25th July 2018. Before elections, well renowned celebrities uploaded their video messages on social media that inspired youth and voters.

Sports personalities and showbiz stars upload their pictures with prove of having inked thumb that indicated that they had casted their vote on twitter including Mawra Hocane, Samina Pirzada, faisal Qureshi, bilal abbas, hamza Ali Abbasi,Farhan Saeed and others .Sports personalities include
 Shahid Afridi,Ahmed Shehzad, Shoaib Akhtar, Waseem Akram , Waseem Akram tweeted "I cast my vote today and really proud to be Pakistani"

Designers were also in the race of vote casting.Pakistani designer Hassan Sheryar Yasin also shared a picture of himself after casting his vote. Mostly celebrities spoke in their tweets that they voted for change..... you know what it means.

While on the other hand some of the celebrities faced critics from their followers on social media  just because they played their vital role in vote casting awareness but unfortunately at election day they went away for the Award Show of private Channel that occured in Toronto. Mahira khan was on the top of critic list and then Bushra Ansari , Sajal Ali and others. Beside this critic, these celebrities felt guilty for not casting vote. in an Instagram post, Mahira Khan clarified that she tried but could not manage to arrive in for casting vote and she is regretting the moment.

"As much as I want to be there tomorrow, its unfortunate that i can not to be.There was absolutely  no way to delay my work commitment  which was scheduled months in advance,I tried my best ."And so with heavy heart, I will not be voting this year.I urge  all of you to get out and vote.May this year bring change we all have been waiting to see.InshaAllah. PakistanZindabad. She stated.

Though these celebrities have their tough and bound schedule and their priorities are different Country must come at first, this was the conclusion of famous singer and actor Farhan Saeed in his recent tweet " All the people from my fraternity and otherwise travelling abroad at such a crucial time is heart breaking.Please lets not take our country's future for granted.

The Slogan " Tabdeeli Aa Nhi Rhi Tabdeeli Agaye Hy" has been proved by the voters of Pakistan.

Election Comission of Pakistan (ECP) has been announced the results of 2018 Elections and PTI clean swiped by having majority, PTI tops with 116 seats of the 270 National Assembly seats. The PMLN grabbed 64 seats while PPP is in the third place with 43 National Assembly seats.

The Nation seems happy because they voted  in safe evironment under the strict security provided by Pakistan Army at polling stations.According to ECP voters turned out in the National Assembly election was 51.85%.The highest voters turned out of 55.09% was recorded in Punjab then Sindh 48.11%, khyberPakhtunkhwa 45.52% and Balochistan Assembly 51.85 percent.

It was the struggle of 22 years, PTI finally accomplished the mission and soon Prime Minister of Pakistan will be Imran Khan. The followers and supporters are celebrating this winning moment in form of rallies. for governing the country, PTI manifesto is to provide the basic need of life especially for the poor and lower class people of Pakistan.

At Imran Khan recent Victory speech, just next day after the Elections results 2018, he addressed the Nation and told his Vision for Naya Pakistan, These were Accountability, he assured that accountability will begin with him and his ministers and then trickle down, He ensured that taxpayer money is not wasted and Prime Minister House will be turn into Educational Institute or in a hotel so that revenue can be generated. Imran Khan's speech ensures that Naya Pakistan will be fruitful for his Nation.

The History of PTI told us that this party brought so many positive changes is KPK after 2013 elections as they got chance to ruled there, Police Department is independent and depoliticized, The Dawn Herald survey  conducted in 2014, showed that 52% of the people felt corruption  had decreased. The Peshawar High Court has introduced E-citizens Grievance Redressal System , a system in Pakistan through which the people of KPK and  tribal areas , especially poor segment of Pakistan society get justice within hours and Health System has also  improved.

The Good News are also coming just right after the PTI won, the Dollar price had fallen and the new selling price is 125.5. Business Community seems happy and contended due to Elections Results and Abdul Karim Daady the renowned business man , shareholder at Stock Exchange said at recent News Show that "Imran Khan is a symbol of Victory and we are hoping that he will lead the Country and we , business Community is with him."

But challenges  has been started for PTI and its Chairman Imran Khan because their opponents  rejected the ECP Results 2018 and claimed that Elections were not fair at all and PMLN is  focusing to hold the Punjab while PTI says that they are in power and have good position in Punjab as well.
 Tug Of War situation is created between these two parties but soon this issue will be solved.

The Result Confirms that Prime Minister will be Imran Khan, more power to your party says by the Nation because majority voted him and "Majority is Authority" and  hope that whatever you have said , you will do that.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released results of all 270 National Assembly (NA) seats that were polled on July 25 across the country.As many as 12,570 candidates contested for a total of 849 seats of national and provincial assemblies in the country's 11th General Election.According to the ECP results, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leads the NA with 116 seats. Second  is the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) with 64 seats and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) with 43 seats.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Naeem-ul-Haq said on Saturday that party chairman Imran Khan will take oath as the prime minister before August 14.

Voting on election day itself seemed to go smoothly. Polling began at 8AM across the country's 85,307 polling stations and continued until 6PM.

Citizens turned out to vote across the country despite a terrorist attack in Quetta that killed more than 30 people. Women turned out to vote in some constituencies where female voter turnout had been zero in 2013. Overall turnout was recorded at 52 percent, compared to a high of 55 percent in 2013.

But soon after polls closed and counting began, opposition parties—the PML-N and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), as well as smaller parties—started alleging rigging.
Vote counts were coming in slowly or not at all, and a number of parties other than the PTI said there had been alarming irregularities, including polling agents from their parties being told to leave polling stations during counting.
The six parties had rejected the results and MMA leader Fazal ur Rehman called for All parties conference.He demanded to reconduct the election. Bilawal Bhutto has already entailed resignation from Election Commissioner but on the other hand ,he announced governor of Sindh and determined to be strong opposition in the parliament.

As Imran's dream of Naya Pakistan has came true after 22 years,and there is high expectation associated with the new government.The ongoing rigging allegation top the chart.How Imran would solve this problem which he faced in 2013 Election is still a mystery.They have some huge challenges to tackle down as soon as possible.He claims to bring change yet to show how these change will occur in Pakistan.
 But the only question,making us to think was this a umpire "Selection”, as opposition  have called it, or does Khan brought a real Election?

A scary incident occured on Sunday night at Askari amusement park near the Old Sabzi Mandi area, when a ride named Discovery had fallen and its result 14 years old girl Kashaf Samad died and during that panic situation 16 people wounded . A case has been registered regarding the collapse of the monsterous ride. According to the investigation report  stated on Monday says that the swing collapsed due to its bolts has broken and further the park has been sealed for 15 days.

The question that rises is who is responsible for that?
who is the owner of that park? because the Municipal commisioner East District  denied owing the amusement park but according to responsible authorities(media reports),famous industrialist Zubair Tufail owns shares at Askari amusement park.

Commissioner Saleh Farooqi  said that investigation team is still looking ahead in solving case that either criminal element was present or not.

Unfortunately amusement park snatched the amused moments of  Kashaaf 's life. 

Why there is no First Aid at such places?

Why the staffs are not well trained?

May be we'II get the answer soon by investigation team as the case is in under process.

Formar Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter and political heir Maryam were arrested at the Lahore airport Friday night on corruption charges after returning From London.
The decision was throughly implemented after the Nawaz and Maryam were sentenced to 10 and 7 years in prison in the Avenfield case. Maryam’s husband Captain (retd) Safdar was sentenced to one year.
High drama surrounded the arrests as the authorities blocked roads, shut down mobile and internet service and deployed thousands of officers to prevent supporters of the Sharifs from reaching the airport.Officials from the National Accountability Court, the anti-corruption watchdog,took the Sharifs under arrest as they arrived on an Etihad Airways commercial flight shortly before 9 p.m. They were to transferred to Adiala Prison but according to the SOPs of prisoner rule,convicted can not be sent to jail after sun set so they were kept in Sehala rest house as sub jail for the night.However further Adiala became their fate and allotted prison number next day.
On the other hand, police arrested many PML-N workers which was condemned by Human right activist.Opposite party recalled the Model Town incident to reap as you sow.Ahmed Waqas Riaz, Punjab’s interim information minister, said in an interview that the government did not use excessive force. “Force was only used at a few places where it was necessary to maintain law and order,” he said. “Airport and other sensitive installations had to be kept safe from any untoward situation.”

Nawaz,68 years old,has taken the position of government three times in history.In his first era from 1990-1993 he was sacked over alleged corruption. In his second tenure 1997-1999 military ousted Nawaz from the prime minister post and more importantly in 2000,he was given life sentenced for the allegation of Hijacking and corruption,however,he opted to exile in Saudi Arabia.In 2007,Nawaz returns from exile to participate in Election 2007 and succeed in making his government in Punjab.During his last period from 2013-2017 he ruled the country as third Prime minister  until Panama leaks  which explore details of expensive properties the family owned in London. Mr. Sharif has denied any wrongdoing, but failed to provide a proper money trail.The allegation led the Supreme Court to remove Mr. Sharif as prime minister in 2017 and as last mark barred him from politics for life time and sentenced to 10 years in jail for corruption.
“Pakistan is at a decisive turning point,” Mr. Sharif said in a recorded video message to supporters that cast doubt on the credibility of the coming election.convicted Nawaz Shareef is still hopeful to win the Election 2018 with huge margin again.
So far this Election is getting as much importance as it should have.Nawaz arrival and arrest shackled the mind of masses.
Apart from this situation,the arrests came the same day the election campaign took a deadly turn in Mastung. More than 130 people, including a candidate from BNP party, were killed in two militant icon attacks in Baluchistan.
It was heart-wrenching to see national media neglecting the sensitivity of the wave of terrorism before Election and rather focusing every aspect of Nawaz arrival.However social Media thrashed the main stream channels toward this approach.
Nawaz political career is seeing a new phase with the old paradigm.Election 2018 is expected a lot more twist and turn further.Hence PML-N can urge his people for sympathy vote as well!
